recycleToday is recycle day at the Falcone Training Center and home!  It comes every two weeks on the same day as our regular trash pickup, and we better have it out there early!

It took us a while to remember the schedule, but all you have to do is look at our neighbors homes and know it is the day! We also have scheduled other activities that need to be done on a bi-weekly basis, so it becomes a day to accomplish much!

Why does one take the time to re-cycle anyway?

Did you know that nearly 90% of what we throw away could potentially be recovered through reuse, recycling or composting?  That more Americans recycle than vote! That it is a daily activity for over 100 million Americans just like us!

The biggest benefit of recycling is that it creates jobs, new industries, and it also helps prevent pollution! Sold yet? I know there are many that say recycling is not working, but for us it does! But what does recycling have to do with our businesses and lives really?

Keeping a clean organized space for business helps us be more creative and in the end maximize our income and minimize the expenses! A mindset of recycling helps keep us focused on the main things, and also helps us know when we need to get rid of things, at least every two weeks!  It certainly helps my business model when I get a refund on ink cartridges, and a discount on paper!

Personally it helps us make better business and personal decisions because we have less clutter and waste around, and it helps us save and be able to give more to others!  Isn’t that what we all want to create as a legacy?

Today is it time to look at getting together what you have put off doing, and learn how the mindset of recycling can help your business and your personal life?  Is it time to put out the old and begin anew to learn the value of why you are here?

Happy Thankful Thursday, what are you thankful for today?
