Are you, as my wise Grandma used to say, “running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off?” We can get that way from time to time, but is it now an everyday way of life for you?

I hear people say all the time they “just don’t have enough hours in the day” to handle their busy lives. Recently I decided to step back and see if I was one caught in that trap.

Yes, even a certified Time Management expert can slip, and do what we tell you to avoid! But the good thing is, not for long! We each have the same amount of hours in a day, so how it is that some have managed to capture the secret and be able to enjoy the journey, while others dread waking up knowing they have to face it all over again?

No matter your age or stage, or circumstances in life, there are three common things for all of us that determine how well we will manage our time and accomplish the plan and purpose for which we are created!

I am sharing them with you today because; even though these are not the easiest or most popular choices you have to make, they will impact you, your family, your business, and your world for a lifetime!

They are:    Know the plan and purpose for your life,  learn the reason, technique, and art of saying NO, and clean out the clutter of your mind, home, and relationships.

I warned you these would not be easy, but the results are huge!  Is this accomplished overnight? NO, but isn’t it time to get off the merry-go-round that everyone else is urging you to ride, and begin living the life God intended all along?

Have a great new beginning of a lifetime of success!

For me it’s a constant re-balancing act. Some days, in each hour of the day, I am adjusting my priorities. Things come up, things happen that need more attention than I previously thought. There’s a metaphor about flying an airplane that compares setting the destination of the flight using the instruments used to fly the plane with time management. It goes something like this: even though the destination is set, the airplane makes constant adjustments throughout the flight in order to arrive at the set destination. I have goals for the end of the day, the week and the month. However, I am constantly re-evaluating my tasks and priorities in order to meet my goals. It’s a fine line that I have to be conscious of all day long.

It wasn’t quite so “gentle” for me but a necessity! So I know we all can do this together! Makes for better health, rest, peace, and the energy we need to bring the “WOW” factor!
