As a Domestic Violence and Breast Cancer survivor, her new book (soon to be released), “A Cry in the Dark” was written to help the person
who may have lost their “voice” and find themselves in the dark. Through her book there is so much more to Halcyon as you will discover when you complete your weekly reflections! She says: “for the person who says “I just can’t; they need to ‘just do.’

Graduate of the University of Kansas, Halcyon has a B.A. and M.A. and was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame, and the Hall of Legends.
